John H. May has over 3 decades of success in the real estate
market in Canada and in Grand Cayman, BWI!

John May is a Canadian citizen, born in Toronto, Ontario.

He started into his career of Commercial Real Estate in 1976 in Toronto. He was a part of the world-wide organization of The International Council of Shopping Centers (ISCS) and the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). This organization was founded in 1942 to assist the U.S. government in acquiring land and buildings for the war effort. Membership is by invitation only and qualified candidates must have extensive experience in the real estate industry with millions of dollars of successful transactions to their credit each year.

Opened own real estate firm in 1982 at a time when there was 26,000 real estate agents in Toronto. John H. May Real Estate Ltd. had 18 agents and they were ranked as one of the top seven firms in Commercial real estate. In 1994, John and his wife Gloria, (now deceased) moved to the beautiful paradise island of Grand Cayman.

Over the past 10 years in Grand Cayman, John has been instrumental in the creation, development, sales and marketing of many properties such as:

• Southampton Garden Villas (60 Villas) Seven Mile Beach
• Windsor Village (60 Condos), South Sound
• Heathcliffe Estates subdivision. Oceanfront Estate Lots and homes in Savannah, Grand Cayman.
• Joint venture of Yacht Club Villas at the prestigious Cayman Yacht Club.
• Sale, refurbishment and leasing of Old Barclays Bank.
• Lease up and management of New Barclays Bank, now First Caribbean International Bank Building.
• Conversion of Clarion Hotel into Grand Pavilion Office Building and leased 100%.
• Sale and purchase of land for The Strand Shopping Centre, creation of project, leasing and management of the complex located on Seven Mile Beach.
